Venini / Plissè / Ivory floor lamp

Blown Murano glass floor lamp with steel structure and Murano glass lampshade. Particular pleated detail made with two rods of different colors, fused together with the incalmo technique. Made in Italy. Venini was founded in 1921 at the hands of the Milanese lawyer Paolo Venini and the Venetian antiques dealer Giacomo Cappellin. There were many star architects who collaborated with the company including: Alessandro Mendini, Carlo Scarpa, Fabio Novembre and Gio Ponti.
