Alessi / Girotondo / Bread basket

Polished 18/10 stainless steel basket, which is part of the King Kong family. The architects Stefano Giovannoni and Guido Venturini designed this nice motif following a recommendation from Alessandro Mendini. They propose to Alessi a basket with a perforated edge with a motif of little men, the kind that children make with scissors. The Girotondo project (1989) will become a best seller at Alessi.
