Haviland. Monkey. Small porcelain cup, created by the French painter Alain Thomas, founding father of the contemporary naïve movement. The protagonist is a young monkey, depicted a few moments before eating a fruit; framed by butterflies and fantastic corollas. The elegant colors and pure gold give preciousness to this tray. Haviland, an American company founded way back in 1840, produces furnishing accessories and tableware in Limoges porcelain. In recent years it has also introduced glassware and silver.
