Venini / Quarzi / Green soliflor vase

The ancient incalmo technique, used by Venini master craftsmen, forges this beautiful modern Murano glass vase with a pearly surface. The silhouette closes at the neck creating a particular drop effect. Venini was founded in 1921 at the hands of the Milanese lawyer Paolo Venini and the Venetian antiques dealer Giacomo Cappellin. There were many star architects who collaborated with the company including: Alessandro Mendini, Carlo Scarpa, Fabio Novembre and Gio Ponti.
