Royal Copenhagen, Collectible Sydney 2000 city plate, made of polished porcelain and cobalt blue decoration, on the occasion of the Olympic Games held in the city. Royal Copenhagen has its roots in 1775 when it was founded by Frantz Heinrich Müller, a pharmacist who had obtained the privilege to manufacture these porcelains under the protection of Queen Juliana Maria of Brunswick-Lüneburg. the brand produces both plates and decorative objects as well as the annual Christmas and Easter themed collections.
