Royal Copenhagen. Christmas 2007 plate from the Bing series, in porcelain decorated with cobalt blue. It depicts a wonderful corolla growing from a vase made from a broken teapot. Royal Copenhagen has its roots in 1775 when it was founded by Frantz Heinrich Müller, a pharmacist who had obtained the privilege to manufacture these porcelains under the protection of Queen Juliana Maria of Brunswick-Lüneburg. the brand produces both plates and decorative objects as well as the annual Christmas and Easter themed collections.
