The Muranese
IMuranesi is an Italian brand founded by Giampaolo Barbini, specialized in the production of Murano glass household objects. The Barbini family was recognized as master craftsmen, skilled creators of superb enamelled glass objects, inlaid panels, chandeliers to illuminate the palaces of the nobility, Venetian mirrors and small glass beads known as conterie. Widespread internationally, the refined design forged by artisans inside the furnaces was the work of great designers and starchitects such as: Cleto Munari, Mendini, Luca Scacchetti, David Palter, De Lucchi.
