Lladrò

Lladrò is a company founded in Spain in 1953 by brothers Juan, José and Vicente Lladró. They begin their production in a limited series, in their own home. The first plates, vases and ceramic figurines are inspired by the works of great European producers such as Meissen, Sèvres and Capodimonte. The elongated lines are a peculiar signature of Lladrò, forged from the finest porcelain. The brand pays particular attention to detail; some of these use very high quality materials, such as real lace soaked in liquid porcelain and then used on women's dresses. Another distinctive sign are also the pastel colors which today alternate with bolder colors with modern collections that use a palette of bright colours, often mixed with gold and which decorates a very fine matt porcelain.
