La Murrina / Filigree / Vase

La Murrina, a Venetian company founded in the 1960s, boasts a production that has its roots in historically inspired craftsmanship. In the Murano furnace, in fact, tradition, design and technology come together to create objects with an unmistakable style and fine workmanship. The vase we present was made with the hot filigree technique, which involves transparent canes with variously intertwined threads, incorporated within them, to obtain a single vitreous fabric which is subsequently worked and blown to the desired shape.
