Royal Copenhagen. Star Fluted. The Star Fluted line is dedicated to Christmas. A delicate hand-made decoration recalls characteristic elements of the Christmas period, with beautiful red bows as the fil rouge of the composition. The plate, which can also be used as a tray for serving cold or hot dishes, has an edge decorated with a fine gold thread. Royal Copenhagen has its roots in 1775 when it was founded by Frantz Heinrich Müller, a pharmacist who had obtained the privilege to manufacture these porcelains under the protection of Queen Juliana Maria of Brunswick-Lüneburg. the brand produces both plates and decorative objects as well as the annual Christmas and Easter themed collections.
