The Girotondo is an 18/10 stainless steel basket that is part of the King Kong family. This nice drawing was designed by architects Stefano Giovannoni and Guido Venturini following the advice of Alessandro Mendini. They propose to Alessi a basket with a perforated edge with a motif of little men, the kind that children make with scissors. The Girotondo project (1989) will become a best seller at Alessi. Also to be used as a chocolate holder or pocket emptier.
