Royal Copenhagen, Christmas Mug 2012. Collectible mug in shiny porcelain with cobalt blue decoration. The drawing depicts the mermaid, symbol of the city of Copenhagen, observing the transit of a cruise ship from the rock. Royal Copenhagen has its roots in 1775 when it was founded by Frantz Heinrich Müller, a pharmacist who had obtained the privilege to manufacture these porcelains under the protection of Queen Juliana Maria of Brunswick-Lüneburg. the brand produces both plates and decorative objects as well as the annual Christmas and Easter themed collections.
